The objective of The Ben Williams Student Support Grant 2021 to support and encourage students with excellent academic merit and possess an outgoing personality, enrolled to study at University. This Grant is offered by the Research School of Physics and Engineering in the ANU College of Science. The Grant will aid students who are experiencing special difficulties and require financial assistance to continue and/or to complete their studies.

Requirements for Australian National University (ANU) Bachelors Qualification

  • Applicants must be an international or domestic student.
  • Applicants must be experiencing special difficulties and require financial assistance to continue and/or to complete their studies. Such cases as, but not exclusively related to, mental illness, disability, extended sickness or family issues are examples of those that may qualify for assistance.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in either an undergraduate or postgraduate program offered by the Research School of Physics and Engineering, such as Honours program in Physics, Bachelor of Philosophy (majoring in Physics), Bachelor of Science (majoring in Physics), Master of Nuclear Science, Master of Photonics, Master of Philosophy (specialising in Physics) and Doctor of Philosophy (specialising in Physics).
