About PanAfrican University (PAU)

The Pan African University was conceptualized in 2008, as part of implementation of the Plan of Action for the Second Decade of Education for Africa, to support the revitalization of higher education in Africa, and contribute to the achievement of the vision of the African Union. Aim and Benefits of PAU Masters Scholarships

The African Union Commission will offer full scholarships to the successful African candidates.

Requirements for PAU Masters Scholarships Qualification

Candidates must be

Age of 30 years for male and 35 years for female applicant.

• Candidates may be required to undergo a written/oral examination after pre-   selection.

Selection Criteria: Candidates with potential, motivation and who desire to play transformative leadership roles as academics, professionals, industrialists, innovators and entrepreneurs are particularly encouraged to apply. 

Documents Required for Application

Candidates must satisfy the following conditions

1. Undergraduate degree from a recognized university, with at least a second class upper division or its equivalent, in a relevant field;
2. Certified copies of relevant certificates, transcripts (from university and high school)
3. Passport or National I.D. card (personal details page)
4. Clear colored passport size photograph (2cmx2cm)
5. Detail CV
6. Recommendation letter from ONE of his/her former University lecturers
7. Names of 3 Reference University lecturers (with email adress and whatsapp number) (*Mandatory)
