nrw: exchange – Your Scholarship for the UK

Aim and Benefits of nrw: exchange – Your Scholarship for the UK

Through this competitive scholarship, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students can receive:

• A monthly stipend of €1,325 (for students) or €1,950 (for doctoral candidates)
• A travel allowance of €375
• An optional Green Mobility Top-Up of €120 for climate-friendly travel

Funding is made possible by the DAAD in collaboration with the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and supports research stays in the UK ranging from 10 days to 4 months.

Requirements for nrw: exchange – Your Scholarship for the UK Qualification

The scholarship is open to RWTH Aachen University students across all disciplines who are in at least their second semester. Funding is available for research related to a seminar or thesis project, and can also support participation in summer schools or trimester stays.

Please note: language courses alone are not eligible for funding.
