The WACCBIP-DELTAS II programme is an annual internship programme for new graduates to work in an environment that supports and promotes the development of research leadership.
As a Centre of Excellence for biomedical research, WACCBIP supports a wide range of research activities in conjunction with its international partners. The DELTAS II programme is supported by the Science for Africa Foundation (SFA) with funding from Wellcome and UK FCDO.
The West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP) is one of the World Bank’s African Centres of Excellence (ACE) at the University of Ghana, led by faculty from the Department of Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology (BCMB) and the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR) at the University of Ghana.
