Part of Brisbane’s Greek community, the Lexion Alliance offers program and course scholarships to support students studying modern Greek language through cross-institutional study with Flinders University (online). The Lexion Alliance also offers honours scholarships to students writing a dissertation with a theme relevant to the Greek community in Queensland and/or Australia.

Requirements for Griffith University Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
Program scholarships
To be eligible for a program scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder
- be enrolled in, or eligible for admission into, the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics, Bachelor of International Business, or any other degree allowing a major in Modern Greek Language
- be full-time or part-time at Griffith University.
Course/s scholarships
To be eligible for a course scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder
- be enrolled in a Griffith University undergraduate degree
- be enrolled in a Modern Greek Language or Cultural Studies course as an elective.
Honours scholarships
To be eligible for an honours scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder, New Zealand Citizen, or International Student
- be enrolled in, or eligible for admission into, any honours degree at Griffith University
- be accepted for a proposed dissertation on a theme relevant to the Greek community in Australia

- Honours and research topics (applicants for the honours scholarship only): Please submit a 500-word outline of your proposed outcomes of study highlighting the scholarship and potential contribution to new understanding of the Greek community in Australia.
Achievements
- Two referees who may be contacted by the panel in the event you are shortlisted.
Statements
- Personal statement: Include a personal statement detailing your personal qualities, including leadership potential and community awareness as well as your career goals and how your proposed study will assist you with this.
