2026 Newcastle University Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships (Undergraduate)

Newcastle University offers a large number of partial scholarship awards each year to assist international students to study for an undergraduate degree. The awards are available for the full duration of the student’s study and will be credited to the student’s fee account to reduce the overall cost of tuition fees.

• £7,000 tuition fee awards.

Requirements for Newcastle University Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

To be considered for awards applicants must:

• be domiciled in of one of the following countries/regions: Algeria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka,  Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey*, UAE, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam or Zimbabwe.
• have been offered a place to study on an eligible undergraduate degree course at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2026/27 academic year
• be assessed as international for fee purposes

*NB Applicants domiciled in Turkey can only be considered if they are self-funding their studies. 

Scholarships will be awarded automatically to eligible students.

Eligible candidates will automatically be awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship as part of their academic course application.
