The University of Queensland Science Global Ambassador Scholarships (China) is for future students enrolling in UQ Faculty of Science coursework degree programs who are citizens and residents of China (mainland).

University of Queensland Undergraduate Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of University of Queensland Undergraduate Scholarship

• $10,000 tuition fee reduction.
• If you're awarded the scholarship, the A$10,000 tuition fee reduction will be split into two $5,000 amounts and applied across the first two semesters of the program (after enrolment and before the tuition fees due date).

Requirements for University of Queensland Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

You’re eligible if you:

• are an International student
• are a citizen and resident of mainland China
• are commencing your first semester at UQ
• are commencing an approved Faculty of Science program (minimum one-year duration).

and you:

• have met the conditions of your offer by the scholarship closing date (you do not need to accept your full offer by the scholarship closing date)
• demonstrate strong academic performance in your previous studies.

Interview date, Process and Venue for University of Queensland Undergraduate Scholarship

The University of Queensland will consider:

• your academic performance (based on the academic credentials you submitted in your UQ Faculty of Science program application)
• your capacity to contribute to science as a global ambassador in your region (based on the personal statement you submitted in your scholarship application)
• UQ values diversity and inclusion and may consider this when we review your application.

Documents Required for Application

You’ll need to submit:

• A personal statement demonstrating your capacity to contribute to science as a global ambassador in your region (limit 300 words).
