Aalto University 2023 Security and Cloud Computing Scholarship

Studies in Security and Cloud Computing give students a broad understanding of the latest and future technologies for secure mobile and cloud computing systems. Students will gain both practical engineering knowledge and theoretical insights into secure systems engineering, distributed application development, network and service architectures, and cloud and mobile platforms. We believe in combining theoretical knowledge and security expertise with product development skills. The studies are also closely linked with research at Aalto University. The graduates are well prepared for international industrial R&D jobs, security engineering and consulting, various expert roles, and doctoral studies at Aalto University and internationally.

Aim and Benefits of Security and Cloud Computing Scholarship

Aalto University’s tuition fee for master’s programmes taught in English is 15 000 euros per academic year. Tuition fees apply to citizens of countries other than those of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.

Aalto University has a scholarship programme to support non-EU/EEA citizens who study in a fee-charging degree programme. The scholarship may cover 100% or 50% of the tuition fee.

Requirements for Security and Cloud Computing Scholarship Qualification

You are eligible to apply in master's admissions if you have a bachelor’s degree.

1. The bachelor's degree must be equivalent to 180 ECTS credits or three years of full-time study.
2. The degree must give eligibility to apply for master’s degree studies at university in the awarding country.
3. The awarding higher education institution has to be a recognised part of the official national education system of the country. It has to be accredited as a degree-granting higher education institution by the country where it is located or by a relevant international organisation (such as UNESCO).
