• Nursing
• Social Work

Requirements for ACT Government Nursing and Allied Health Placement Support Grant Qualification

This grant is open to applicants who meet all the following criteria:

• Citizenship: domestic 
• Campus: Canberra (on campus)?? 
• Are currently enrolled in and will be undertaking a placement in Semester 2, 2025.
• Faculty: Health Science?? 
• Course: enrolled in one of the following in Semester 2, 2025: 
  • Bachelor of Nursing?? 
  • Bachelor of Nursing (Enrolled Nurses)?? 
  • Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Paramedicine?
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology
  • Bachelor of Social Work??? 
  • Master of Social Work (Qualifying)   
• Meet one or more of the following criteria:?  
  • Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students??  
  • From a low socio-economic background?  
  • From a regional, rural, or remote location?as classified by the ASGS Remoteness Areas (2021)   
  • Financial need or hardship
  • Academic merit

Interview date, Process and Venue for ACT Government Nursing and Allied Health Placement Support Grant

Applications are assessed based on the strength of how applicants meet any one or more of the following criteria:

• Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students?
• From a low socio-economic background
• From a regional, rural, or remote location
• Financial need or hardship
• Placement location and duration
• Academic merit
