Adelaide University offers a number of Research Training Program Scholarships (RTPS) to outstanding domestic and international graduates from any country to commence a research program. These scholarships are only available through our merit rounds.

• Up to 3.5 years at $36,500 p.a. (indexed, 2026 rate)

Requirements for Adelaide Research Training Program Scholarship Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

To be eligible to hold the Scholarship, a candidate must:

• be commencing a full-time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program at the University.

• The award of this Scholarship is subject to the student's admission to the respective research program. This Scholarship is only available through our merit rounds.
