African Liberty 2021 Writing Fellowship Programme

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the African Liberty Writing Fellowship Programme 2021 aimed at advancing individual freedom, peace and prosperity in Africa.

The Fellowship is designed to identify promising freedom-minded African writers and provide them with the skills required to be successful in op-ed writing. It identifies and trains young promising African freedom advocates in professional journalistic writing and help them kickstart careers in journalism and policy.

Requirements for African Liberty Writing Fellowship Programme Qualification

To be eligible for the African Liberty Writing Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a young and promising applicant enrolled in or have graduated from an African institution of higher learning. Or, be an African pursuing higher education outside the continent.
• Be available to participate in the fellowship for the entire duration of the programme.
• Demonstrate excellent academic and leadership abilities.
