African Society of Cambridge University (ASCU) 2021 Mentorship Program

A new initiative by the African Society of Cambridge University in partnership with Africa of Our Dream Initiative (AODI) that aims to provide general guidance and support on the postgraduate application process for Africans applying to the University of Cambridge. The program will run from June to December 2021, and will include one-to-one mentorship support with a matched current student or alumni. There will also be limited financial support for application fees as needed. Sign up to be a mentor.

Aim and Benefits of Mentorship Program

  • The program will run from June to December 2021, and will include one-to-one mentorship support with a matched current student or alumni. There will also be limited financial support for application fees as needed. Sign up to be a mentor.
  • As part of the programme there will also be general information sessions on contacting supervisors, PhD proposal writing, and applying for funding.
  • We are able to provide a limited number of funds for the application fee for people with financial hardship who are not eligible for the university application fee waiver.
  • The application for the program is divided into four sections – personal details, academic background, financial information and other information. A copy of your resume/CV is required.

African student applying for a postgraduate degree at the University of Cambridge (2022 intake)
