Aston University is known for its friendly campus community with students from over 120 different countries. As an Aston student you’ll be better prepared for your future career from sharing your classroom with international students from all over the world.
Aston University has a proud network of Global Ambassadors, made up of international students who share their story and experience of studying at Aston with others around the world.
Global Ambassadors represent Aston University in many different ways, such as attending events and Open Days, making videos and posting on social media, and speaking to people about what life is like as an international student at Aston.
The Global Ambassador scholarship is for students who want to be the future face of Aston University. We are looking for students who can represent us on the global stage and tell future generations of students what Aston is like. You will be proud, passionate and a great communicator. You must be a keen user of social media with ambitions to become an international social media influencer. As well as receiving the scholarship, you will also be given priority consideration for paid work with the international marketing and recruitment team, which will provide valuable work experience.

Aston began as the Birmingham Municipal Technical School in 1895, evolving into the UK’s first College of Advanced Technology in 1956. Successful applicants will be awarded £5,000 to help with tuition fees. Successful applicants are required to become a Global Ambassador and will help to represent Aston University flexibly alongside their studies.
As well as receiving the scholarship, you will also be given priority consideration for paid work with the international marketing and recruitment team, which will provide valuable work experience
International students from any country (including the EU). This scholarship is available for students applying to undergraduate (excluding Medicine) starting in September 2023.

We take pride in our diverse student body who come not only from all over the world but also from a wide range of social and educational backgrounds. This scholarship will be awarded to students who demonstrate the enthusiasm, pride and ability to represent Aston University and share their experience with others.

If you are successful in being awarded multiple scholarships, the highest value scholarship will be awarded to you. To apply for a scholarship, you will need to apply for an Aston University course first. Once you have received an offer to study an Aston University course, you can then log into your My Aston Portal (MAP) account, where you will find a link to the scholarship application form. Details on how to access your MAP account can be found in your offer email.
