Aston University UK 2022 Global Ambassador Scholarship

Aston University has a proud network of Global Ambassadors, made up of international students who share their story and experience of studying at Aston with others around the world.

Global Ambassadors represent Aston University in many different ways, such as attending events and Open Days, making videos and posting on social media, and speaking to people about what life is like as an international student at Aston.

The Global Ambassador scholarship of £3,000 is for students who want to be the future face of Aston University. We are looking for 25 students who can represent us on the global stage and tell future generations of students what Aston is like. You will be proud, passionate and a great communicator. You must be a keen user of social media with ambitions to become an international social media influencer. As well as receiving the scholarship, you will also be given priority consideration for paid work with the international marketing and recruitment team, which will provide valuable work experience.

Aston University is a public research university situated at Gosta Green, in the city centre of Birmingham, England. Aston began as the Birmingham Municipal Technical School in 1895, evolving into the UK’s first College of Advanced Technology in 1956. The reward is a £3,000 tuition fee.

Requirements for Aston University Masters Scholarship Qualification

• Applicants of any nationality can apply for this scholarship.
• Postgraduate research students are not eligible.
• Applicants should be holding an offer of any PG taught program at the University starting September 2022. except for MBA.
• Applicants can apply for all the eligible scholarships at the same time, but they will be awarded only with one scholarship (whichever is highest from the scholarships they got awarded).
• The deadline for the scholarship is 31st July 2022.
• The applicant would be an overseas payer.

How to Apply

To apply for a scholarship, you will need to apply for an Aston University course first. Once you have received an offer to study an Aston University course, you can then log into your My Aston Portal (MAP) account, where you will find a link to the scholarship application form. Details on how to access your MAP account can be found in your offer email.  

Please create a 1 minute video to answer the question - "Why did you choose to study at Aston University?'

• To ensure a fair application process, if your video is longer than 1 minute we will only consider the first 1 minute of the video.
• Please upload your video to YouTube (or an alternative platform such as Bilibili if YouTube is not available in your country) and submit the link on the ‘Global Ambassador Scholarship application’ page on My Aston Portal (MAP).
