BI Norwegian Business School 2021 - A. Wilhelmsen Foundation Scholarships in Norway

Since 2010, the A. Wilhelmsen Foundation has supported international students at BI Norwegian Business School through a generous scholarship programme. The objective of The A. Wilhelmsen Foundation scholarship is to contribute to the financing of education in Norway for international students.

To be eligible for this scholarship, the candidate must apply for admission to, and be accepted in, a Master of Science programme at BI Norwegian Business School.

Please note that it is not possible to apply for a scholarship directly through the Wilhelmsen Foundation. To be considered, applicants must include a scholarship application letter addressed to the attention of the A. Wilhelmsen Foundation Board with their application for admission via BI’s online application portal.

  • Applicants should write a scholarship application letter for the specific scholarship in 1 page and supplement the program application.
  • Applicants should include their goals, motivations, career ambitions, and how they can contribute to the program in the application letter.
  • Applicants must submit family and economic situations and explain why they need the scholarship.
  • Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence.
  • Applications are assessed based on financial needs, and personal ambitions.
  • The continuation of the scholarship for the 2nd year is dependent on the candidate's satisfactory study progression.
