Business and Professional Women (BPW) is offering the Business and Professional Women (BPW)  Wendy Martin Education Encouragement Award to a female student studying at Southern Cross University’s Coffs Harbour Campus. The scholarship aims to support women’s empowerment through supporting women on their learning and career path, enabling economic security and a chance to contribute to community.

BPW Australia is a community of women working to end gender inequity. Our members share an interest in the issues that affect working women in Australia and around the world today. BPW Australia is affiliated to BPW International, which has consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Requirements for Business and Professional Women (BPW) Wendy Martin Education Encouragement Award Qualification

Applicants applying for this scholarship must:

1. Identify as female
2. Be enrolled in the second year or later of on-campus studies in Coffs Harbour
3. Reside between Grafton and Nambucca and west to Dorrigo
4. Be facing a challenge impacting studies, such as financial hardship, family trauma, medical concerns, single parenthood, disability, or other challenges.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Business and Professional Women (BPW) Wendy Martin Education Encouragement Award

Selection will be based on:

1. An assessment of the personal introductory statement (150–250 words) explaining why they are applying for the scholarship and their aspirations through the completion of their chosen degree.
