Cambridge Marshall PhD Scholarship is available to PhD applicants from the USA who are recipients of a two-year Marshall Scholarship, and will fund the third year of a three-year PhD course in any subject. It is tenable at any College.

The Cambridge Commonwealth, European & International Trust was established on 1 August 2013 from the merger of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust and the Cambridge Overseas Trust. These were established as charities by the University of Cambridge in the 1980s in order to provide financial support for international students on degree courses at Cambridge. The Trust awards approximately 500 scholarships annually, and supports between 1,100 and 1,400 students in residence each year from 85 countries across the world. The Cambridge Marshall PhD Scholarship will fund the University tuition fee and a maintenance stipend sufficient for a single person for the third year of a three-year PhD course
Applicants should be US citizens who are recipients of a two-year Marshall Scholarship which they intend to apply to fund a PhD course at the University of Cambridge
