Beit Cambridge Scholarship is available to Masters applicants normally resident in Zambia, Zimbabwe or Malawi in any subject. It is tenable at any College.
Offered in partnership with The Beit Trust.
The Beit Trust was established in 1906 through the Will of Alfred Beit, a financier and philanthropist. Up to twenty Beit Scholarships are awarded each year, jointly funded with partner universities like Cambridge.
The Cambridge Commonwealth, European & International Trust was established on 1 August 2013 from the merger of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust and the Cambridge Overseas Trust. These were established as charities by the University of Cambridge in the 1980s in order to provide financial support for international students on degree courses at Cambridge. The Trust awards approximately 500 scholarships annually, and supports between 1,100 and 1,400 students in residence each year from 85 countries across the world. They are open to nationals of Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi who are also permanently resident in their countries (and to those nationals only). Applicants must have a conditional offer from Cambridge before applying to the Beit Trust.
