Cardiff University Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship 2025/2026

Cardiff University Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships offer funding awards to international students across a variety of postgraduate taught programmes. Awards between £3,500 to £10,000 will be awarded to eligible postgraduate-taught students and will be offered in the form of a tuition fee discount.

Applicants domiciled in the countries listed below are eligible for awards of £3,500:

Requirements for Masters Scholarship Qualification

To be awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship you must meet, or exceed, the conditions of your offer (including any English language requirements) by:

• 17 December 2025 (or 10 December 2025 for  MSc Data Science and Analytics) for January 2026 entry

Full terms and conditions for January 2026 entry which includes, but is not limited to:

• submitting your application to the University 10 December 2025 (or 3 December 2025 for MSc Data Science and Analytics)
• accepting your offer and paying any applicable deposit by 17 December 2025 (or 10 December 2025 for MSc Data Science and Analytics), unless your deposit deadline is after this date, in which case, your deposit must be paid by your initial deposit deadline and your offer accepted within 14 days of it being made
• holding an offer for an eligible postgraduate taught course
• meeting the original admissions criteria for your programme (if applicable) by the date specified for your intake in the terms and conditions

Scholarship eligibility is separate from admission eligibility. To qualify for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship, you must achieve the published minimum academic entry requirements for your chosen programme exactly as stated on the course pages of our website, at the time of your application.

How to Apply

International applicants from eligible countries who accept an offer for selected postgraduate programmes and pay any required deposit by the date specified on their offer letter will automatically be considered for the Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship.
