Scholarship benefits is up to £3,000 for our Chinese-English Scholarship.
There are five scholarships available.
Eligibility
Students who are not eligible
The following students are NOT eligible for this scholarship regardless of meeting the above criteria:
Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence and interview performance, and the final selection is made by a panel of academic and administrative staff of the University of Essex.
We will use the information you provide on your original course application to make our selection.
No alternative form of the scholarship is available, and the award cannot be deferred to a later year from the one for which you are admitted.
Successful candidates will be notified by end of July 2025 by our Funding Team.
You must accept your offer of the scholarship within two weeks of an offer being made, otherwise the offer will be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible candidate.
All course applications received by 30 June 2025 will automatically be considered for this scholarship. You do not need to complete a separate application form.
