This master’s programme responds to the principal challenges of a key sector for the economy, food safety, food security, and sustainability. In a context shaped by changes in consumption patterns, technological transformation, regulatory requirements, and new production models, agri-food marketing and entrepreneurship play a strategic role in policy coordination, business decision-making, and value creation across the food supply chain. Understanding consumer attitudes and preferences is now fundamental in order to design differentiated and competitive products aligned with emerging trends in responsible, healthy, and sustainable consumption.
The Master’s Degree in Agri-Food Marketing and Entrepreneurship addresses the need to train professionals capable of responding to the current challenges of the agri-food sector, integrating advanced marketing, digitalisation, innovation, and sustainable entrepreneurship. The academic structure is based on global trends and the priority strategic competences required to enhance the competitiveness of the sector.
The principal objectives of the master’s are:
- Build a solid foundation in agri-food marketing and entrepreneurship, mastering key tools and understanding market dynamics.
- Develop the ability to design and assess marketing and entrepreneurship strategies based on economic, market, and institutional factors.
- Gain practical experience analysing and developing real-world strategies used by agri-food companies.
- Strengthen critical thinking to address challenges in public and private agri-food organisations.
- Improve communication skills to present ideas, results, and conclusions clearly and effectively.
The programme is delivered in English in interconnected hybrid classrooms. Students benefit from an enriching collaborative learning experience across the five teaching institutions.
