RWTH Aachen University is proud to be one of the eleven Universities of Excellence in Germany. Established in collaboration with proRWTH during the 2009/2010 winter semester, the RWTH Education Fund empowers exceptional students to focus fully on their studies without financial concerns.

Through the Deutschlandstipendium, a scholarship program supported by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, RWHT provides scholarships that open doors to academic excellence.

Requirements for Deutschlandstipendium Scholarship Program Qualification

The RWTH Education Fund supports students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and show outstanding potential. Our long-term goal is to award scholarships to the top ten percent of RWTH students.

In addition to academic excellence, factors such as personal life experiences, extracurricular involvement, community service, and social background may also be considered. The application process is held annually, ensuring that new outstanding students have the opportunity to receive support.

To date, approximately 20 percent of applicants have been awarded scholarships each year.
