- £4,000 per academic year.
Durham University Undergraduate Scholarship Courses
Requirements for Durham University Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
Applicant must have:
- a household income below £42,875 (as determined by Student Finance)
- and meet at least one of the following criteria
- be the first generation in your immediate family to attend University
- be from a background currently underrepresented in Computer Science
Preference will be given to applicants from the North East of England - defined as having a postcode beginning with DH, DL, NE, SR or TS.

- Apply for a course
- Submit an academic application to Durham University via UCAS prior to the scholarship deadline.
- Apply to UCAS
- Complete a scholarship application
- Provide a copy of your Student Finance letter confirming the amount of maintenance loan you will receive to [email protected] If you do not have this information by the scholarship deadline please provide it as soon as you receive it from Student Finance England.
- Arrange for a reference in support of your scholarship application to be sent by email to [email protected].
- Please ensure your referee submits the reference on letter headed paper which contains:
- their name
- position
- contact details
- the name of the scholarship you have applied for
- your full name
