ENHANCE.D short-term scholarships support bachelor’s and master’s students, as well as doctoral candidates (depending on the program), who participate in a summer or winter school at an ENHANCE partner university (excluding ETH Zurich).
The funding period is usually five days and, unless otherwise specified in the application conditions, is open to all disciplines.
The scholarships are designed to foster professional development and strengthen international networks among students and doctoral candidates across the ENHANCE alliance.

The scholarship provides funding of 75 euros per day, or 50 euros per day for stays at TU Berlin, along with a one-time travel allowance of 75 euros.
RWTH bachelor’s and master’s students, as well as doctoral candidates from all disciplines, are eligible – unless the specific program defines a narrower target group.
Applications for ENHANCE short-term scholarships are tied directly to participation in summer or winter schools hosted by ENHANCE partner universities. Application periods are determined by the host university. Once accepted by the host university, applicants automatically qualify for the scholarship, and the ENHANCE team at RWTH will contact them regarding payment. No separate scholarship application is required.
