Erasmus Mundus Masters Scholarship
Aim and Benefits of Erasmus Mundus Masters Scholarship
The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is awarded to the best students admitted each year to the programme from all over the world.
The scholarship amounts to a maximum of 33,600 € (1400 € per month for up to 24 months).
All scholarship holders are granted a tuition fee waiver.
To be eligible for the scholarship you must
- comply with the Erasmus Mundus Mobility Requirements
- be a full-time student on the programme.
Requirements for Erasmus Mundus Masters Scholarship Qualification
Bachelor’s degree that automatically fulfils the academic requirements
- Applicants with one of the following Bachelor’s or Professional Bachelor’s degrees automatically fulfil the academic requirements for admission to the GloFor EMJM:
- – Biology (biologi), Geography and Geoinformatics (geografi og geoinformatik) or Natural Resources (naturressourcer) from University of Copenhagen
- – Forest Sciences, Sustainable Natural Resource Management, Governance of Natural Resources, Agriculture, Landscape Planning, Regional Development or Geography from Technical University, Dresden
- – Forestry/Forest Sciences from Technical University of Munich, University of Göttingen, University of Freiburg
- – Agriculture and Forestry (L25), Biology (L13), Urban, Environmental and Landscape Planning (L21), Environmental Sciences (L32) from University of Padua
- – Forest and Landscape Engineering (skov- og landskabsingeniør) or Urban Landscape Engineering (urban landskabsingeniør) from University of Copenhagen.
- – Biology, Agrobiology or Economics from Aarhus University
- – Biology or Geography from Aalborg University
- – Biology, Technological and Socio-Economic Planning, Natural Sciences or Geography from Roskilde University
- – Natural Sciences (international Bachelor’s degree) from Roskilde University
- – Biology from University of Southern Denmark
Other Degrees
- Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree, Professional Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from Danish or international universities other than those listed in above is qualified for admission to the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in Global Forestry if the programme includes one or several of the following:
- – 30 ECTS in forestry
- – 30 ECTS in biology
- – 30 ECTS in geography
- – 30 ECTS in economics
- – 30 ECTS in sociology
- – 30 ECTS in political science
- Other applicants
- The Faculty may also admit applicants who, subject to an individual academic assessment, are assessed to possess educational qualifications equivalent to those described above.
- Supplementary subject elements
- The qualifications of an applicant to the program are assessed exclusively on the basis of the qualifying bachelor’s degree. Supplementary subject elements passed between the completion of the bachelor’s program and the admission to the program cannot be included in the overall assessment.
- However, subject elements passed before the completion of the bachelor’s program may be included in the overall assessment. This includes subject elements completed as continuing education as well as subject elements completed as part of a former higher education program. A maximum of 30 ECTS supplementary subject elements can be included in the overall assessment.
- Subject elements passed before completing the BSc programme which are to form part of the MSc programme to which the student has a legal right of admission cannot be included in the overall assessment.
