Aim and Benefits of Faculty of Graduate Studies Distinguished Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship

The DDRS is valued at $17,000 per year for four years. The guaranteed graduate stipend students will receive will be the program funding plus the recruitment scholarship ($17,000) for a combined total of $12,000 over the program’s minimum guaranteed funding package for 4 years.

Requirements for Faculty of Graduate Studies Distinguished Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship Qualification

• The scholarship is open to students registered in the first year of a doctoral program in the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Graduate Studies.
• Students transferring directly from a master’s program are eligible effective the 2024 award year.
