FC Midtjylland offers a study programme as a Research Analyst in its scouting department, running from June 2026 to May 2027.

FC Midtjylland, in collaboration with ISI Højskole, offers a unique study programme aimed at individuals who want to turn theory into practice and build a career in the football industry. The role will be specially aimed to support scouting department organization and decision-making. We are looking for open-minded, independant, creative, and self-motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute in a highperformance football-environment. The study programme combines practical, hands-on experience at FC Midtjylland’s training ground with formal education and personal development at ISI Højskole.

STUDY PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

As a Research Analyst in the scouting department, you will research different markets to understand the youth/academy/senior football infrastructure and acquire expertise insights in specified countries, and produce academic papers that explain the key findings to inform scouting department investment and logistics. You’ll also take part in key projects that evaluate market trends and transfer flows.

EDUCATIONAL COMPONENT AT ISI HØJSKOLE

Alongside your practical work at FCM, you will attend courses at ISI Højskole. Here, you will:

• Complete the UEFA C Coaching License
• Learn about FCM’s Style of Play
• Explore specialist football disciplines
• Gain insights into Danish football culture
• Live and learn in a professional and supportive environment

Location: Accommodation is provided right next to club training ground

Financials: The programme is unpaid, but all board and lodging are covered

Duration: 12 months

Requirements for FC Midtjylland Research Analyst Intern Internship Qualification

• FC Midtjylland welcome applications from recently graduated university students and/or students currently enrolled in post-graduate programs who are passionate about making a career in football.
• Strong writing, communicative, and relationship building skills.
• Experience conducting self-directed research in an academic setting.
• Strong sense of research methodology.
• Speaks multiple languages.
• Expert knowledge of their home football market, especially in academy systems.
• Ability to travel.
