Flinders University 2025 The John Crampton Travelling Scholarship

The late Mrs Mary Hope St. Clair Crampton died on 8 August 1996 leaving a bequest providing a number of scholarships to be used for the purpose of enabling students to undertake higher degree study overseas.

Applications are invited from students intending to undertake study in the areas of Architecture, Engineering, Fine Arts (Music excluded) or Classical Antiquity, in a country other than Australia. The number and value of scholarships awarded each year will be determined on merit and subject to available income.

Provides a generous stipend (e.g., $25,000 p.a.), tuition fee support (up to $25,000 p.a.), and travel allowances.

Requirements for The John Crampton Travelling Scholarship Qualification

A candidate should preferably be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and a graduate of an Australian university holding either a First Class Honours degree (or equivalent qualification) or a Research Masters degree. Other candidates who are students in any of the specified areas of study may be considered on merit.
