Flinders University City Campus Business Scholarship 2024

Flinders University has established this scholarship to support students studying business courses at the New City Campus at Festival Plaza Campus. Up to ten scholarships will be available per annum.

Flinders City Campus Business Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of Flinders City Campus Business Scholarship

The scholarship is valued at $7,500 per annum for up to three years. The scholarship will be paid in instalments of $3,750 each semester subject to the recipient maintaining eligibility.

Requirements for Flinders City Campus Business Scholarship Qualification

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident of Australia or permanent humanitarian visa holder; and
• Be applying via SATAC to commence an eligible undergraduate business course at the Flinders’ City Campus at Flinders University; and
• Have their first preference to an eligible business course*; and
• Be in receipt of means-tested government payments, or can demonstrate financial hardship, or be from a Low SES school*; and
• Be completing year 12 in the year prior to commencing University study; or
• Be completing the Foundation Studies Program at Flinders University in the year prior to commencing University study.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be awarded based on academic merit, using the applicant’s university entrance score. Selection of the candidate(s) will be made at the same time as the main round of university admission offers in accordance with procedures approved by the Director, Student Administration Services and based on SATAC application data. If the scholarship quota is not filled in the first main of offers, the University may decide to offer scholarships to students in subsequent rounds. (Note, the main round is usually the first offer round held in the January of the admission year).
