These scholarships were established in 2019 by Fujitsu Cyber Security Services (previously InPhySec a Fujitsu company) to support two students with their studies in cyber security. These awards are intended to encourage and help build cyber security expertise within New Zealand.
Fujitsu’s purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. We require diverse people to help us achieve our purpose. This is why we encourage students from all walks of life to apply for this scholarship, particularly M?ori, Pacific Peoples, female and gender-diverse people.
The Scholarship is open to students studying Cyber Security Engineering or Software Engineering at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. The Scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of academic merit.

Scholarship has a value of up to $9,000 towards tuition fees
A completed online application must be submitted by 4.30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4.30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
