Aim and Benefits of University of Queensland (UQ) PhD Scholarship

Successful applicants of the QUEX PhD Scholarship 2021 will receive the following benefits-

• A stipend of $28,597 per annum tax-free (2021 rate), indexed annually
• Tuition fees
• Overseas Student Health Cover (where applicable)
• A travel grant of AUD $8,500 per annum
• A training grant of AUD $3,000 are also available over the program.

Requirements for University of Queensland (UQ) PhD Scholarship Qualification

• Open to all nationals enrolling in a joint PhD program.
• Applicants must meet the entry requirements for a higher degree by research.
• Applicants must study full-time and onshore in Australia (at UQ) or the UK (at Exeter) once enrolled. 
• Applicants must be assessed by the UQ Graduate School as meeting all conditions for admission to the PhD program.
• Applicants must not already hold a PhD.
