Aim and Benefits of University of Sussex PhD Scholarship

Successful applicants of the Life Sciences PhD Biochemistry International Studentships at the University of Sussex 2021 will cover Home tuition fees and a stipend at standard UKRI rates for 3 years.

Note: Applicants with overseas fee status will need to fund the difference between Home and International tuition fees.

Requirements for University of Sussex PhD Scholarship Qualification

• Applicants from all nationalities are eligible.
• Applicants must have a strong background in cell signaling with additional experience of biochemistry.
• Applicants must have recently received an MSc and/or a First or high 2:1 BSc in a relevant subject.
• Applicants for whom English is not their first language will require an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with not less than 6.0 in any section.
