Aim and Benefits of Glasgow Caledonian University Masters Scholarship

• Full tuition fee scholarship for 1 Year Masters programme commencing September 2026  

You must have an unconditional offer to study for a master's degree at GCU (Glasgow & London campus) commencing September 2026 and be able to detail how you will cover your living costs in line with UKVI visa regulations.

Requirements for Glasgow Caledonian University Masters Scholarship Qualification

Any International fee-paying student who can demonstrate how they have contributed to the Common Good and are looking to commence studies in September 2026 at GCU and have an unconditional offer on a master's degree

As part of the application, you will be required to submit a video of no longer than two minutes telling us about yourself and how you have contributed to the Common Good. Please detail the link of your Youtube video on the application form.

This scholarship is very competitive so please ensure your application details the impact your Common Good activity has made.

• Have you helped others less fortunate?
• Have you set up a project designed to help your community?
• Have you volunteered?
• Detail your financial need and how you will support your living costs in line with UKVI requirements
• Please detail how you would like to further impact the Common Good after graduating.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Glasgow Caledonian University Masters Scholarship

Selection criteria will be based upon the following answers when you apply:

• Applicant has a strong academic profile
• Preference will be given to applicants with an undergraduate degree qualification Uk equivalent of First Class Honours 70% and above or Upper Second-Class Honours: 60–70%

or

• Applicants who have clearly demonstrated how they have contributed to the common good
• Applicant has demonstrated financial need
• Applicant has clearly outlined how the programme fits with their future ambitions and goals

You will be required to agree to the Ambassadors' Charter, which outlines requirements for successful applicants. These are:

• Record vlogs/blogs about your experience as a student of GCU
• Successful applicants should be available for promotional activities as requested by the School.
• One hour per week as a Unibuddy helping answer prospective students' questions about life at GCU
