The Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship is offered by Griffith University to exceptional international students applying for undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree programs. It covers 50% of the tuition fees for the entire duration of the degree, subject to ongoing eligibility.

Aim and Benefits of Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship

The scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fees for the duration of the undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program, subject to ongoing eligibility requirements.

Requirements for Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship Qualification

International students (excluding citizens of Australia and New Zealand) who have:

• A minimum GPA of 6.0 on a 7-point scale or equivalent from previous studies.
• Received an offer to study at Griffith University by the scholarship application closing date.
• Met all academic and English language requirements for their chosen program.
• Plan to study full-time starting in 2024, 2025, or 2026.

Selection

Applicants are selected based on their academic merit and their ability to meet all eligibility requirements. A University panel will review the applications

Application Deadline

How to Apply

1. Apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at Griffith University.
2. After receiving a Letter of Offer, apply for the scholarship by the specified closing date. Include academic records and a personal statement.
3. The University panel will review eligible applications and notify applicants of the outcome.

Application Deadline:

• Trimester 3, 2024: Apply by August 10, 2024 (Outcome by August 29, 2024; Starts on November 4, 2024)
• Trimester 1, 2025: Apply by November 30, 2024 (Outcome by December 13, 2024); Students completing Australian Year 12 only: Apply by December 16, 2024 (Outcome by December 23, 2024; Starts on March 3, 2025)
• Trimester 2, 2025: Apply by April 12, 2025 (Outcome by April 30, 2025; Starts on July 14, 2025)
