Henry Chijioke Ofili Foundation Scholarship for Undergraduate Students 2024

The Henry Chijioke Ofili Foundation is dedicated to supporting the education of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who demonstrate exceptional academic potential and are pursuing undergraduate degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines. The scholarship is administered by The Destiny Trust, a social intervention organization focused on the education, well-being, and empowerment of children and young people from vulnerable groups.

Also, through this collaboration, we recognize the innate potential of every young person to achieve lifelong fulfillment and collectively invest in resilient youth who are taking up the power to transform the social and economic circumstances of their families and communities.

The Henry Ofili Scholarship supports exceptional talents in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) who face economic challenges that hinder their ability to start or continue undergraduate programs. This scholarship provides crucial financial assistance and resources to help these students pursue their degrees.

Requirements for Henry Chijioke Ofili Foundation Scholarship Qualification

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Academic Merit: Provide standardized test grades (A1) in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and other core science subjects from the West African Senior School Certificate Examination or its equivalent.
• Leadership Potential: Demonstrate leadership with a track record in volunteering, community service, and personal integrity. Provide documentation verifying underrepresented status.
• Economic Disadvantage: Must belong to one or more of the following groups: first-generation undergraduates from low-income families, orphans, housing-insecure, or displaced youths who completed basic education through resilience.
