Jade Finance Scholarship 2025 at CQUniversity Australia

As part of our community support program, Jade Finance Australia is awarding a $5000 academic scholarship to support tertiary studies students in advancing their studies. The Jade Finance Scholarship will be awarded to the applicant, selected by our expert panel, who has been judged to have submitted the most outstanding written response to our selection criteria. The topic of the written response can be of the applicant’s choosing but with a focus on business finance and consumer loans areas including Motor Vehicle Finance, Marine Finance, Equipment Finance, Truck Loans, Commercial Loans, Personal Finance, Motorcycle Loans and Caravan Finance. The global economy including Australia has experienced unprecedented and historic conditions recently which in some ways bring into question traditional economic thought and policies – record low-interest rates followed by massive rate hikes from central banks, record low unemployment, soaring inflation, demand-supply inequality, high consumer demand. All at a time when there is a major focus on addressing climate change.   Challenging conditions for individuals and businesses to make decisions around acquisitions with finance. Conditions that should inspire students to provide their take on the situation, what should and shouldn’t be done by central banks, regulators, and governments, and how the finance sector may play a role in the solution.

Requirements for Jade Finance Scholarship Qualification

• Full-time and part-time tertiary students currently enrolled in and have completed one year of study in a course at a recognised Australian tertiary institution or higher education provider.
• Submit a written response of no more than 800 words on insights, ideas and innovations that focus on the business and consumer finance industry in Australia.
• Outline how the $ 5,000 will be used to support your studies.
• Applications must be received by midnight Australian time on 1 November 2025
• The winner will be decided by 1 December 2025 and advised by phone and email.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Jade Finance Scholarship

The Jade Finance panel will be looking for the most outstanding written response.

The successful applicant will be the one who shows the most impressive insights, ideas and innovative approaches to the role and actions of lenders, governments and regulators in the current economic and financial environment.

How to Apply

The Jade Finance Scholarship is open to applications from full-time and part-time tertiary students who are currently enrolled in and completed 1 year of study at a recognised Australian tertiary institution or higher education provider.

Award: Up-to $5000 to support study and training expenses.

• Applications will be assessed and judged by a panel of professionals in the financial lending field as appointed by Jade Finance Australia.
• Applicants must submit a written response of no more than 800 words on a topic related to business finance and consumer loans.
• Applications must be received by midnight Australian time, on 1 November 2025
• The winner will be decided by 1 December 2025 and advised by phone and email.
• No correspondence will be entered into post-award.
• The award will be deposited into the awardee’s bank account.
