Jefferson Scholars Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship
Aim and Benefits of Jefferson Scholars Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship
The scholarship includes tuition, room, board, books, and miscellaneous expenses based on full-time enrollment for eight semesters at the University of Virginia, plus coverage of supplemental enrichment experiences.
- Virginians receive over $42,000 per year or upwards of $230,000 total.
- Non-Virginians receive over $83,000 per year or upwards of $405,000 total.

The Foundation gives Scholars of both programs opportunities to broaden their horizons through a wide range of enrichment activities, including:

Requirements for Jefferson Scholars Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
- The Jefferson and Walentas Scholarships are only for students who enroll at the University of Virginia.
Interview date, Process and Venue for Jefferson Scholars Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship
- Jefferson and Walentas Scholarships are awarded to individuals who have undergone a rigorous selection process and who possess an exceptional record of and the potential for impact both inside and outside the classroom.
- The selection process has three main components: Nomination, Regional Review, and Final Selection.
