Through the John Curtin Global Excellence Scholarship, eligible students will receive 40% off the tuition fee for the duration of the course. Aim and Benefits of Curtin University Undergraduate Scholarship

• This scholarship provides eligible students 40% off the tuition fee of the course they are undertaking.

Requirements for Curtin University Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

This scholarship is only for:

• International, fee-paying, non-sponsored students of any nationality except Australian; and
• Are enrolled in a Curtin undergraduate degree course of a standard duration of four (4) years or less, or Master degree by coursework of two (2) years or less; and
• Will be studying at a Curtin Western Australian campus (WA Campus) commencing in a study period from July 2025 onwards; and
• Achieved a Course-Weighted Average of 95% in the most recent and eligible course of study.

Please note that this scholarship:

• Provides 40% off the tuition fee of the course, as a tuition fee credit against all unit(s) enrolled within the course.
• Only covers tuition fees and does not cover any other international student expense
• Will be credited to recipient’s fee account after census date of the first study period
• Cannot be withdrawn or refunded in cash
• Can be revoked at the discretion of Curtin if recipient already has a scholarship or sponsorship
• Can be revoked if the recipient does not accept their Letter of Offer or enrol in their course by the date specified
• Cannot be retained if a recipient defers their studies beyond a 2027 start date
• Cannot be transferred to a Curtin campus or partner outside Western Australia, or to another university

To accept this scholarship offer, you must pay the full Deposit amount set out in your Letter of Offer for the first study period of your Course.

As there are limited number of Scholarship available, Curtin reserves the right to cease offering this Scholarship if you do not accept by the due date stated on the Letter of Offer. You will be formally notified if the Scholarship is no longer valid or withdrawn.

Application Deadline

How to Apply

• There is no separate scholarship application required. Students are invited to apply for the Curtin course through one of Curtin University registered education agents OR apply directly to Curtin online 
• All qualifying applications to Curtin are automatically assessed for the John Curtin Global Excellence Scholarship. Global Admissions will assess each application accordingly and issue a supplementary letter, along with a Letter of Offer, to confirm whether the applicant has been successful.
