Requirements for King Fahd University Masters Scholarship Qualification

The King Fahd University Scholarships are awarded only to students aiming to continue their studies in Master’s or Postgraduate (PhD.) levels in a wide range of fields of studies. Even though these scholarships are highly competitive, they have a surprisingly lenient eligibility criterion. 

Following is the eligibility criteria for the students applying to the King Fahd University Scholarships 2022-2023:

For Master’s Degree Program Applicants:

• A four year Bachelor’s degree in any related faculty (16 years of previous education)
• An overall Grade Point Average of (GPA) of 3.00 or higher on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent in Bachelor’s
• A Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher in the subject that the student has chosen as a major for his Master’s. 

Note: The above eligibility criterion was for students opting for Masters’s in any field other than Business Administration. For an MBA aspirant, the university has a separate criterion mentioned as follows:

For MBA Degree Program Applicants:

• A four years Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (16 years of previous education)
• An overall Grade Point Average of (GPA) of 3.00 or higher on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent in Bachelor’s
• At least one course in college-level calculus which includes both integration and differentiation
• Working knowledge of computers verified by at least one course in any of the following areas:
  • Data processing
  • Programming
  • • Information technology
  • At least one year of full-time working experience. This requirement is exempted for graduate assistants, research assistants, and applicants with remarkable academic records.
