The Borghgraef Scholarship is awarded to excellent students who wish to study Master of Bioethics programme. The one-off grant is meant not only to alliviate the financial burden of pursuing higher education, but also to reward the recipient for their motivation and excellence, particularly in the field of bioethics.

• A one-off grant of € 3,500

Requirements for KU Leuven Masters Scholarship Qualification

• Students have to meet the admission requirements for the Master of Bioethics.

Interview date, Process and Venue for KU Leuven Masters Scholarship

The Selection Committee confirms that applicants have been admitted to the Master of Bioethics before the deadline and then awards the scholarship to candidates with excellent academic records and strong motivation.

• Study results: Candidates will be assessed on the basis of their grades. Preference will be given to students with excellent study results.
• Letter of motivation: Candidates must write a strong letter of motivation explaining why they want to study the Master of Bioethics and why they are the right candidate to receive the scholarship.

Application Deadline

How to Apply

All students wishing to apply for the scholarship must do two things:

• Fill in the eligibility screening form for students which you can find on the application page of the website of the Master of Bioethics.
• Apply for the Master of Bioethics.

There are two mandatory forms for this scholarship:

• Eligibility screening: form for both the programme and the scholarship
• Application form: application form for the Master of Bioethics via the application portal
