- Applicants must be intending to enrol or be enrolled in the Bachelor of Midwifery programme or the Master of Nursing Practice programme at the School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Practice at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
Interview date, Process and Venue for Victoria University of Wellington Nursing & Midwifery Scholarship
Selection criteria:
- Applicants must be intending to enrol or be enrolled in the Bachelor of Midwifery programme or the Master of Nursing Practice programme at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington in the year following this application.
- The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and commitment to becoming a registered nurse or midwife.
- Preference will be given to applicants experiencing financial hardship.
Selection process:
- Shortlisted applications will be considered by the Head of the School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Practice or their nominee, representatives from the School, and representatives from Laerdal New Zealand or their nominee.
Additional information:
- The recipient must provide a thank you letter within one month of receiving the scholarship.
- The recipient of this Scholarship must also provide an update at the end of the academic year.
