LMU DAAD Prize 2026

Over 10,000 international students are enrolled at LMU. They enrich the university community both culturally and academically. To recognize this, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has once again awarded a prize this year to a talented international student at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.

LMU DAAD Prize Undergraduate Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of LMU DAAD Prize Undergraduate Scholarship

• The selected foreign prize winner will be awarded a DAAD prize of 1,000 euros at a reception during the winter semester.

Requirements for LMU DAAD Prize Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• Above-average academic performance and social or university-political engagement,
• Foreign citizenship (no domestic students with educational qualifications or dual citizenship),
• Enrolled at LMU (at least two completed semesters of study at LMU)

Documents Required for Application

Documents to be submitted:

• Letter of recommendation (informal)
• CV/current academic record
• Confirmation of social commitment
