The Scotiabank McMaster Medical Scholarship was established in 1999 by the Bank of Nova Scotia. Ten scholarships to be awarded to undergraduate medical students based on good academic standing and financial need.

Qualifications:
- Applicant must be a graduate or medical student.
- This award is program specific.
- This award is faculty specific.
- This award is plan specific.
- Applicant must comply with the bursary regulations noted in the current University Calendar.
- Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
- Applicant must be enrolled.
- Applicant must be an Ontario resident.
- Applicant must be a current student.
- International students are ineligible for this award.
- Applicant would like to be considered for need-based aid.
- Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
