Mercedes-Benz Intern in Global Transport Logistics 2026

Do you want to gain insights into the global logistics of a global automotive company and actively contribute to ensuring that parts and components are in the right place at the right time? Then you've come to the right place. Our International Sea and Air Freight Network Planning team plans and optimizes worldwide air and sea transport services for Mercedes-Benz Cars, Vans, and Global Customer Service & Parts. We design international transport networks from the concept phase to ongoing operations.

Here's what you can expect from us:

• You will support the analysis and further development of international supply chains as well as the planning and tendering of logistics services.
• You will independently handle planning requests and provide support for short-notice tenders.
• You create regular reports, for example on sales, fuel trends and the performance of our service providers.
• You are in contact with international internal partners such as plants, the Global Logistics Center, freight procurement, and other stakeholders.
• You communicate with external transport service providers and gain direct insights into the logistics industry.
• You prepare and actively participate in meetings, workshops, and discussions with service providers.
• You will provide support for management with presentations and decision-making documents.
• You will contribute to the development and enhancement of tools for strategic network planning.
• You will manage our Mercedes-Benz social intranet group and develop it further with your own ideas.
• You create our weekly logistics newsletter and publish it on the Mercedes-Benz social intranet.

The work can begin from September 2026.

Requirements for Mercedes-Benz Intern in Global Transport Logistics Internship Qualification

• You are studying business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study, ideally with a focus on transport economics, logistics or supply chain management.
• You communicate confidently in German and English, both in writing and orally.
• You are proficient in using Microsoft Office; experience with content creation or an interest in social media marketing is a plus.
• You have experience using common AI tools or are keen to integrate them smartly into your daily work.
• You enjoy working in a team, think analytically, show initiative, and are eager to take on responsibility in an international environment.
