Mercedes-Benz Intern in Internal Communications 2026

The Hamburg plant produces axles and axle components, as well as steering columns, integrated steering systems (ISG), cross members, and pedal assemblies, among other things. 
Working directly with plant management, you will be responsible for internal communications and drive your own communication projects within the Hamburg plant. 
You will present information concisely, develop appropriate communication formats, and ensure that messages effectively reach employees.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• You actively shape internal communication by creating and developing newsletters and posts for the social intranet.
• This is how you ensure that relevant information is communicated to employees clearly, understandably, and in a targeted manner.
• You develop measures to strengthen employee engagement and support formats and initiatives that promote exchange, identification and participation of the workforce.
• You actively support the planning, coordination and implementation of projects that are of strategic importance to the plant management, and you drive these forward in a structured manner.
• You conduct analyses and evaluations, systematically prepare and interpret data to support informed decisions.
  • You prepare your results in reports and presentations tailored to the target audience.

The work can begin from September 2026.

Requirements for Mercedes-Benz Intern*in Internal Communications Internship Qualification

• Studies in business administration, communication studies or a comparable course of study related to communication, organization or management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as a keen sense for target group-oriented internal communication.
• Initial experience in project management, ideally in the field of communication, change management or internal initiatives, as well as the ability to independently structure and coordinate tasks and projects.
• Creative and conceptual thinking, especially in the development of communication formats and measures to promote employee engagement.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Word, for the professional creation of presentations and communication materials.
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
