Three to four scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded each semester.

Requirements for Undergraduate Research Scholarship Qualification
- The applicant must be an active Department of Computer Science undergraduate student.
- The proposed work must be supervised by at least one Computer Science faculty member.
- The proposal should include introduction, proposed work, and an evaluation plan. The student and the supervisor(s) may write the proposal together. The proposal should be no more than three pages in length.
- The applicant should submit their resume and transcript with their proposal.
- The supervisor(s) will provide a supporting letter and a budget.
- Submit a student research scholarship application.
- Submit a faculty recommendation.
Interview date, Process and Venue for Undergraduate Research Scholarship
Evaluation and Project Deliverables
- The proposals will be evaluated by a committee consisting of four Department of Computer Science faculty members.
- The committee will evaluate the proposal based on its intellectual merit and broad impact. The decision will be made and recipients will be notified within two weeks of the proposal deadline.
- At the end of each semester, research scholarship awardees will to present a research poster at the biannual Department of Computer Science research workshop.
