Aim and Benefits of MTN Training

• Foundational Onboarding: Introduction to business, culture, and digital strategy
• Technical Academies: In-depth training in areas such as Cloud, Data & AI, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Networks & Infrastructure
• Rotations: Placement across different technical and commercial units to gain diverse experience
• Real Project Assignments: Hands-on delivery of business-impacting technology projects
• Mentorship & Coaching: Guidance from senior engineers and people leaders
• Professional Certification Support: Access to learning platforms and certification pathways

Requirements for MTN Training Qualification

To qualify for the programme, applicants must meet the following:

Education:

• A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM fields
• Must have completed NYSC (or be in the final stages of completion)

Experience: 

• 0–2 years of post-NYSC experience

Skills: 

• Foundational programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL). 
• Basic understanding of software development, APIs, debugging, testing, and version control (Git). 
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. 
• Introductory knowledge of systems, databases, cloud concepts, and IT infrastructure. 
• Good communication and teamwork skills for cross functional collaboration. 
• Attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn quickly. 
•  User centric mindset and understanding of how technology supports business needs
