Dean's Award
Aim and Benefits of Dean's Award
- $10,000 study allowance (one-off)
- Opportunity to join the NTU Talent Development Programme (TDP) and Undergraduate Research Experience on Campus (URECA) Programme.
- No bond is attached to the Dean’s Award apart from the bond applicable under the MOE Tuition Grant Scheme.
Requirements for Dean's Award Qualification
- Open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents
- Successful awardees should read a full-time undergraduate degree programme.
- Possess outstanding academic achievements in the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' level, Diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore, NUS High School Diploma, IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications.
- Good co-curricular records.
- Good leadership qualities and potential.
Interview date, Process and Venue for Dean's Award
- Award holder is required to take on the role of student ambassador, or any other similar role, representing the university to give publicity talks, to receive guests, etc, as and when called upon to do so.
- The Award may be withdrawn at any time if, in the opinion of the University, the Award holder's progress or behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory.
- If the Award holder decides to terminate the Award prematurely, a repayment will be imposed.
