Applications are invited from qualified young Nigerians for the 2021 cohort of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group Bridge Fellowship, an initiative of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group in collaboration with Leap Africa.

About Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG)

In 1993, a group of passionate and concerned private sector leaders representing key economic sectors conceived the Nigerian Economic Summit (NES) and sustained it as a platform for bringing together private sector leaders and senior public sector officials to discuss and dialogue on the future of the Nigerian Economy. Aim and Benefits of NESG Bridge Fellowship

The Fellowship aims at equipping a new cadre of young visionary leaders with leadership, research and policy advocacy skills to champion policy reform in diverse policy areas. The fellowship offers participant hands-on experience in the area of Advocacy, Research and Leadership


Requirements for NESG Bridge Fellowship Qualification

To be eligible for the Nigerian Economic Summit Group Bridge Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Are between the ages of 22 and 35 on or before the application deadline.
  • Are not employees or immediate family members of employees of the NESG and LEAP Africa.
  • Are able to undergo rigorous training for a period of 15 months.
  • Are committed to attending online training and available for mentoring throughout the Fellowship period.
  • Are currently employed or self-employed.
  • Are proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
  • Have at least a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years post-NYSC working experience.
