NTU Talent Scholarship is awarded to NTU undergraduates with outstanding talent achievements, including artistic, sporting and leadership/interpersonal talents representing NTU or Singapore or having made a significant societal impact within and outside NTU. Talents include but not limited to:
- Artistic individuals: singer, designer, artist, writer, filmmaker, musician, songwriter, actor/actress, dancer/choreographer
- Sporting professionals: athletics, boxing, yoga, triathlon/para triathlon
- Leadership and community builder: public speaker, entrepreneurial talents, leader, motivator, network builder, peacemaker, tech disruptor, innovation entrepreneur, eco champions, well-being and healthcare advocate, culture and society specialist

NTU Talent Scholarship
Aim and Benefits of NTU Talent Scholarship
NTU Talent Scholarship covers up to the normal programme duration on condition that the scholarship holder maintain a record of good performance and exemplary conduct.
- Full coverage of subsidised tuition fees (after Tuition Grant).
- Living allowance of S$6,500 per academic year.
- Accommodation allowance of up to S$2,000 per academic year. (Applicable to scholarship holders who reside in NTU hostels only.)
- Talent grant of up to S$8,000 subject to approval (for new cohorts from AY2025).
- Computer allowance of S$2,000 (one-off). For full term awardees only.
- No bond is attached to the NTU Talent Scholarship apart from the three-year bond applicable to all Singapore PRs and international students under the MOE Tuition Grant Scheme.
Requirements for NTU Talent Scholarship Qualification
- Open to all nationalities.
- Successful awardees should read a full-time undergraduate degree programme. The scholarship will cover the years of study at NTU.
- Possess Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' level, Diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore, NUS High School Diploma, IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications.
- Excellent talent achievements and passion to contribute to NTU’s campus life and/or strategic sectors.
- Outstanding leadership qualities and potential.
- For students who are keen to study Medicine, do note that the NTU Talent Scholarship is only available as a mid-term scholarship.
Interview date, Process and Venue for NTU Talent Scholarship
Scholarship selection interviews will take place between February to April, while selection interviews for Mid-Term scholarships will take place between July to August.
Only scholarship applicants that are shortlisted for an interview will be informed via e-mail.
Do check your email regularly and be prepared to attend an interview at short notice.

You are required to login with the application number assigned to you. Please select the NTU talent scholarship option should you be keen to be considered for this scholarship.

- To be considered for this scholarship, you will have to submit further information at the weblink provided at the end of scholarship application form.
- Applicants are also required to submit the following in the NTU Talent Scholarship application portal after completing your application form:
- As part of completing the form, a Personal Essay of not more than 250 words is required. The scholarship application form includes 1 compulsory topic for the essay.
- Details of your referee. Your referee should be someone who is able to vouch for your talent.
- You are encouraged to share a URL that contains a portfolio of your talent achievements
